Hurray!!. “Do you know who is going to conduct the dumb-c finals?”,asked out madam. The answer made me shout the first word iteratively.IT WAS G.VINOD!!!. My champ or being more specific our champ is back to the digital fortress of our college.Hahaha, what a place to be at after a loong time.
The dumb-c went in His own style with few tips inbetween by His Master’s voice. We were leading till the end but lost to the ECE team who kept hanging at the second place.Anyway we finished second. Then came my happiest moment.A good nice chat with our champ.GV was accompanied by his friend Shrikant(our champ no.2).
Nearly six or seven of us had a cool informal chat for nearly half an hour. What precious hours are those!! I hope those 30 minutes come again and again. He went on with His own way of speaking in english most of the times and some tamil words too.We spent those minutes amidst of large disturbance of the loudspeakers.Oh! the loudspeakers helped us to obtain GVs view about the song “valameenukum..” by gana ulaganathan.
We invited Him to preside over the quiz clubs’ inaugaration which we plan to launch by a months’ time.He said to inaugarate with some big shot.”Who else than U?”,we queried. But He went on his humble way of answering. Finally came the time which stands as my saddest moment. The time to end our chat :-(
But a happy day among the boring days of our so called college.I now have the visiting cards of our champs in my purse!! And i often take it out to show that i know GV and Shrikant and more importantly, THEY KNOW ME!!!!!

It takes a long time to think what up for the next post, but when once a thing is decided then it is done in few minutes. But this time it is the exact reverse way.I didnot think over what to type but juz took so loong time to juz put the words so that they make some sense.
What can i say about…….?hmmmm….well!,my culturals!Yeah. It was a lull day as usual college days but with a little satisfaction that the day has NO TUTORIAL SECTIONS!The regular fucking words of our college PERIYAVALS(so called higher authorities) to remain as dead-bodies and to react only when His words were heared. It was more irritating when our seniors made the dance collapse. Then a piece of satisfaction poured in as we performed well both in adzap and variety show.We got second in the latter.
Towards the evening, Oh! NO! Adding on to our irritations, the prize distribution ceremony. The first and second places for quiz and dumb-c were awarded with a MOMENTO of not worth more than Rs.50.Anyway the day ended with a party with 13 of our friends having a good dinner at “Bhats Bhojan”(A/C restaurent). We spent the entire money we got in variety for the dinner and what else? So back home with the memories of the fucking cheaters of the ECE team. They got the overall shield for the one and only reason that the son of His Holiness of our college belongs to ECE.The herd of blacksheeps is now inside our college..uh..er…school.
So with only happiness that we satisfied our HOD and we performed to our satisfaction,i sat on my bed(mat-pai) with mixed feelings till midnight. What can be done now?Nothing, obviously. So i went into my world of dreams, the place, only where we people live our lives to the fullest.

The Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore has broken all records and beaten the other IIMs by getting the highest pay packet for an individual student in the annual placements.
At the end of ’slot zero,’ Gaurav Agarwal of Kanpur has secured placement from Barclays Capital with an annual salary of $193,000 (about Rs 86 lakh), thereby breaking the record of $185,000 secured by a graduate from IIM-Ahmedabad just two days ago.
Gaurav Agarwal will be posted in London. Another student, Venkatesh Shankararaman, got a package of Rs 30 lakh, the highest offer for a domestic position, in Mumbai. Agarwal, an IIT Kanpur alumnus, had done his summer internship with Barclays. Prior to joining the IIM-B, Agarwal was working with a network chip-design company, Tera Blaze, at the Silicon Valley, USA.
On the other hand, a B-Tech graduate from IIT-Madras, Venkatesh Shankararaman did his post-graduate in science from Ohio State University and worked with i2 Technologies in the US.
Overall, a total of 21 companies took part in the placement process, including the biggies of global investment banking, the like of Goldman Sachs (London, New York), BNP Paribas (Hong Kong), Barclays Capital (London, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore), Merrill Lynch (Hong Kong, Singapore), Lehman Brothers (New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Hong), Deutsche Bank (London), ABN AMRO (Hong Kong), UBS (Hong Kong, London), and JP Morgan (London).
Besides the investment banks, the gravy train this time included consulting giants. The consultants brigade was led by McKinsey, Bain and Co, Boston Consulting Group, Ameriprise Financials, Deutsche Post (USA, Germany and Singapore), AT Kearney and Diamond Cluster.
“The numbers speak for the quality of students. The students were brilliant and we have recruited the highest number of candidates from here, among the three campuses,” said Vikash Daga of McKinsey.
As many as 182 students signed up for the process and by the end of “Day Zero”, 65 of them, comprising 34 per cent of the batch, were placed.
McKinsey has taken nine recruits from the IIM-B, the highest among all IIMs this year.
The IIM-B’s growing reputation of producing specialist students was underlined by the presence of private equity firms like Baring Private Equity Partners, news giant Bloomberg (New York) and conglomerates like British Petroleum (Singapore) and Mittal Steel. Last year, 78 companies had together made 328 offers at IIM-B.
Indian companies began their recruitment on Sunday, the first day of the recruitment process, wherein the activity focused on students interested in marketing, retail banking, IT services and consulting. The line-up includes FMCG behemoths like HLL, P&G, banking giants like Kotak and Citibank, and consultants like Accenture and KPMG joining the parade. The process will go on till mid-night.
Amid this shower of lucrative offers, one student, Kunal Mahipal of Kolkata, has opted out of the placements and has decided to start his own business. He did his BCom degree from Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
His aim is to make it big in the branded garments industry. His company, Kriti, will focus on designer wear for men, women and kids. He has already managed to arrange 30 per cent of the capital from his partner. He plans to approach venture capital funds for the rest of the investment.

ps:sorry for copy-pasting.But a interesting one(stomach-burning).Right!

It is the same formalities of predecided winners in symposiums still going on.But today it is something really so cruel thing that happened. There was general and technical quizzes seperately, treasure hunt, pot pourrie and the good old paper presentation.

General Quiz: The quiz prelims witnessed 30 questions and 4 regular quizzers and a new team were qualified for the finals. The new team consisted of a girl and a boy and from the beginning they were leading and answered the questions which even the regular quizzers found difficult.
There were 2 quiz masters,a cheater(******) and another guy.The cheater clearly revealed that the new team was predecided to be the winners. The second one was somewhat good. Here comes the climax.First place to the new team with 130pts,second-CEG with 90pts and third came SSN.
When the teams were leaving the stage, one of the members of CEG noticed the notepad which the girl of the new team was keeping.IT HAD ALL THE ANSWERS WRITTEN IN IT.THE BLACKSHEEP WAS CAUGHT.And later after a good quarrel they made the team to get out.

Treasure Hunt: We were very much happy to hear that we were qualified for the finals and when we went there, the volunteer said that there are only 6 teams for finals and we being the 7th team were removed. We didnt see the final list and so we thought he was right and we came back.
At the way back to audi, we noticed that we were the 6th team.ONCE AGAIN A BLACKSHEEP.
So,we went and asked him what the hell was going on???He said nothing and stood still rightly as per the tamil saying “Kutramulla nenjam kurukurukkum”.
We came back with our irritated mood which holds on us for the last few symposiums. It was an added irritation when we saw the team who were selected as 4th team for finals were rejected and were replaced by someone else.

For other things they refer MIT(Madras Institute of Technology) as a college in which Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam studied and all those stuffs.Really Mr.Kalam will be ashamed of himself if he comes to know that his college did such a F***ING institute.

P.S:Though we carry all irritations ,we had a satisfaction that atleast one blacksheep got caught among the herd of blacksheeps which are now roaming around in symposiums.

kOKarakokooooooooo……..
The day began with the unusual cock followed by the phone call from the man from madambakkam,Mr.Thangavelu.
It was juz to inform me that the results of the prestigous vennai university(torture ,though it’s garbage).I quickly
ran to my pc and switched on it. It said “boot in safe mode”.It seems that somebody have already seen my results and
told it to my pc.
Then the unusual procedure to connect the net with my shortcut Ctrl+Alt+D.What a speed!!I hoped that my computer was in fll intention to put me in a bad mood as early as possible.I went to the link and typed my reg.no ***********. And now ENTER<-|.
There came the list of marks. No doubt these are marks corrected by a drunked fellow.Once again i brushed my eyes to check out whether it is mine or someothers’.It is totally collapsed.Rightly as per the saying “Expect the unexpected”,the results were there.
All my friends used to tease me saying, “u r a great one.u will study @ last.U cannot be believed.Be like us.Dont work too hard and try for univ.ranks”.
But today i hope my marks would have satisfied them, but definitely not me by theirs.
All those who teased me scored 81,84,85,86,88 and so on,while i didnot even reach 80% with juz pass in maths ans digital.
Anyway i have made others happy, though i’m going on with “archanai” from my _________(u all know that suits the blank).
As an overall way to say,I was FOOLED>
A question may arise in comparision of this post to the post titled “Stop worrying ,coz god doesnt”.I have mentioned God doesnt. And thats why in situations like this i try to discover the god in me.
“Mirugam konru mirugam konru kadavul valarka parkinren, aanal kadavul konru”, sometimes the beast inside leaps ahead and makes me Mental inside.

PS: definitely not to hurt anyone,bt to ease myself in these first 10 days of this month.(u know y…….hahaha).
