Av..i think u r a bit harsh in ur expression..may be u worte it after returning by 8 from our symposium..so you did..no probs..here are answers for your question.
1)Why did the events clash?
Ans: Obvious reason, eleven events in a single day. You wanna choose your best event..it happens in all symp with many events…and if you counter argue to keep the symp for 2 days..it is impossible in our college..you know it.

2)Why did the lunch and treasure hunt clash?
Ans: Ha ha…Fillin your belly or runnin thru the campus…which is important depends on your decision..you could have asked there to adjust the events..which i hope u never did except for the debuggin and quiz clash.

3)3 prizes and prize amount?
Ans: I never said there are 3 prizes and i dunno whether others said..I was sayin for the last week that the prizes are 2500 and 1500 for paper and 1500 and 1000 for other events which sriram is witness for my saying. And regarding the accounts for 60000, i know that it was not given.Leave out the star next to it or so.. I was who told u abt the symp and i was tellin 1500 and 1000..so no chance of u gettin dissappointed..the prizes were dcd as 60000 with sponsors and it was when the posters were printed and website was put on.. But later due to lack of sponsors and many other factors it was reduced and amidst very tough quarrel from our side we made it to 15 and 1 though the symp went out of budget without any sponsors.

4)Comparing with MNM?

Our symposium we told 60000 and we gave 35000 odd prizes and the reason i have told above.MNM mentioned 3k,2k,1k for first 3 prizes and gave 600,300,150 worth orange opticals coupon. So u can never even imagine to compare as a intellectual fellow..Right? They are not on par to be compared…

So no doubt…Zephyrix was great except for few flaws which is obvious to occur in a big event with a atmosphere as ours..i cant write more explaining the atmosphere of us..you know it more than me…SO I WILL NEVER ACCEPT YOUR “WTF STATEMENT” of sayin it was bad. We conducted it very much better than the symposia which can be compared with this.

Our department symposium which almost proved its success even before it started, showed its awesome terror with 822 participants from colleges of tamilnadu and other states. The event witnessed the highest ever number of participants in the history of our college. We had eleven events and two hours in morning and evening for the inaugaral and the valedictory respectively. But despite that, with the efforts of all the members put together, we managed the event very well.
The activities were going on one side in a full fledged manner. But one thing which really made all of the other college participants is the hospitality provided for them. Not even a single person from our college had a single piece of cake or food the whole day. All the events took place with small comedies and professionalism which will be explained by the respective event co-ordinators.
The event was praised by all and most remained silent as they were left with no words to express the feel which they had. CSE rocked the day. We had Yo-Yo from Big FM who stole the audience with his own style in judging the adzap and he also conducted the informal event and yesterday they also had a 4 minutes on-air about our symposium. THANKS BIG minded friends. About godmother….sorry..i’m left with no words to describe her great attitude and her approach on that day… simply amazing!!

It was thursday when a circular came to our class stating that the college management is going to take the interested students to puttabarthi temple on friday evening and will be back by monday morning. I was not there in my class when the circular came and so i knew the information in the bus only. Moreover there are lots of work to be done for the symposium and also for the project. So anyway i would not have gone. But i feel for missing a great opportunity to go to a long desired place to visit-Puttabarthi. This place is dedicated to sri saibaba who i always inspire as a human being for his good services to the society. Anyway will go sometime and see him. But this opportunity is gone..Nothing to feel..just a information of what is happening in college.Thats it!

I have previously told about my department symposium on august 25th, zephyrix07 the national level technical symposium to be held in the biggest level ever at sri sairam engineering college conducted by our department of computer science. The works for the symposium are going on at full swing and symptoms clearly prove that the event is going to be a great success. The most exciting part is that we have ordered for t-shirts and we have also got permission to wear it during the symposium which is a great achievement as far as our college is concerned. We guys are gonna rock..so be there to rock along with us and feel the breeze of victory, enthusiasm and enjoy the exhilarating experience.

I have previously mentioned about the telemedicine staff development program and probably we will work on a project in that. Now we have gained more and more knowledge in it and now we are going to do the first module in the project where we are into the designing the graphical user interface which enables an automated kiosk for the registered as well as non registered users to get them checked for diabetic tests. Will keep updating about it.

It was the most anticipated day from the last week. Yesterday, the 4th of august, birthday of this famous blogger and our best friend Ramanujam alias Babbu.I started early from my home by 8 in the morning and reached T.Nagar by 9. Then Sid and I went to Kapathu’s house where we all planned to meet to make the arrangements for the birthday celebrations. I started fair copying the Tamil poem which I prepared the previous night with tear-filled eyes for my best friend. Kapathu played very good songs from her collections and we were later joined by samba and jayasri (baabi).

We had the cashew nut embedded pongal along with tasty sambar prepared specially for us by mom. Then we all laid in the sofa which along with the song by the side really made us sleep. It was 12 noon… Suddenly Kapathu reminded we were actually there for babbu’s birthday. And baabiji was keeping on insisting that we have to start early for babbu’s birthday. Sid and Kapathu bought the cake and the other requirements for the party. We started by half past twelve in the noon to babbu’s house and reached the spot in five minutes. There babbu and sano were singing the isai kalaignan song in the highest pitch possible. We entered and watched our college variety show for sometime and then few chats about the college activities which ultimately gave us a fulltime comedy show effect.

Then we were joined by the other members kudi, raja, vijay, dhaadhi, ragavanandam and ragavendran. Then we had a game of uno and around 2.45 we had the cake cutting ceremony. Kapathu broke the “2” In the candle “20”by giving her full force. That added to the comedy around. Then we had the birthday song “Rama, inniki un pirandhanaal, nee azhaga porandhuttiye” and Rama unexpectedly handled the first piece of cake to dhaadi…enna koduma sir!! Then the next piece to his mom and then the next piece to “RAMA”. We gave our presentations and then brushed the cake in his face and then around 4 we started to Besant nagar beach. Kapathu couldn’t join us due to mom’s eye checkup. We reached Bessie beach along with the eggs to be showered on the birthday boy.

I was there at the Besant nagar beach for the first time and decided it must be the last time too. Terror fool pairs around doing all nonsense which shouldn’t be done outdoor. Clearing all that of f my mind I moved like a horse with the kadivalam. (I dunno wat it is in English) and then Rama and “rama” joined us after ten minutes. And yes, the great BALA joined us. If I had not specified this in my Blog he would have cursed me. Then we all brushed Rama with the eggs we had hidden in our hands. But another girl who was sitting nearby also got her t-shirt full of egg-splash. We said sorry which was replied by a strong look.

It was time to have our kalasal session where we kalasified all the girls around who were half dressed in the name of fashion and then moved to the traditional beach eatable- BAJJI. Our friends got overjoyed and started jumping and standing upside down and all tricks. It was like a vidhai show there. Then we left the beach and moved to planet yumm and ate for 2000 rupees for 14 of us. A good treat by rama and we all wished rama that he should get birthday every month. Prasi was one of the candidates who missed out the entire celebrations and fun due to her GRE exam on 8th of August.

It was lots of fun the full day and the most surprising and the gunnies event of the day is that my dad showed NO terror even though I came home by half past ten at night. There were my sister’s efforts in putting full fledged bits to maintain my status and make me escape the terror. But no terror is the greatest thing which I have experienced.

This being our last year of college we have decided to celebrate each and every day of this year and each and every event of this year. We conduct regular stays at our sanga room at chrompet and also regular get- together meetings. The birthday was also a celebration for the friendship day which is today. So to end this post…HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY TO ALL…

I got placed!!!

All of you people knew that we were busily preparing for the placement drive in our college. Yesterday and the day before yesterday we had TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES(TCS) on-campus. Fully filled with mixture of hopes and fear, we got placed in bulk. Totally 143 from our college and 39 from our department of computer science.
There was many happy and exciting moments in this time of 2 days. All of us had a seperate experience to share. As i cant mention all, i will do a few.

Online test round:

1. I was waiting for my results during the last few minutes and those countdown seconds were thrill-filled more than Vijayakant’s movie(not recent ones….new ones are only comedy movies). and i got through finally.

2.Few of our class girls and college girls were eliminated and so started crying. Sano adds “even those who didn’t get eliminated also cried”.

3.Apti was the only key. Verbal and logical had the key….aa…bb…cc…dd…ee…aa…bb…cc…dd…ee…hee hee..!!

Technical round:

1. I went in and told completely about my project and after it they asked me to do mimicry as i had mentioned it in my resume.
Sachin vs. tony greig and vijayakant telling about TCS. i got through.

2. My friend Neelakantan had biscuits from them and was ready to sign the bond even for 50 years.

3.Our class topper Neeraja was the ultimate comedy out there. She kept promising to each and everyone in the panel that she won’t go for higher studies and pleased to hire her. (karpooram adichu sathiyam pannada korai).

Managerial Round:

1. I was appreciated for my service to sivananda orphanage and also for my profile knowledge about TCS. So i confirmed my place in TCS.

2. Neelakantan again had a juice in this round and said the same bond details of 50 years and with few of his regular mokkai’s was through.

3.Sidharth nearly got a sponsor for our project..he kept on talking for hours and hours so that they were very much impressed.

Post placement analysis:

1. Raja came and told me that he and myself are rivals finally.(unlucky fellow…got into rejection panel).

2. The stars of the day were SWAMINATHAN and GUHAN… rocky rockers.

3. I will post regularly.

All the best for all those who are looking forward positively for the next company and congrats to all those who got placed.

I want to mention about our database management sir…..no…friend.. who helped us a lot and motivated us to get through. And last but one …our G(h)OD madam..

Thanks to all…..haiyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…..I’m placed!!
