All the colleges and schools will announce holidays. And this time additional happiness it that this day falls on a weekday. It is all about the Christmas celebrations which are going around for a week. I don’t know much about the history and other details of Christmas. As far as I know, The word Christmas originated as a contraction of “Christ’s mass”. It is derived from the Middle English Christemasse and Old English Cristes mæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038, compounded from Old English derivatives of the Greek christos and the Latin missa. In early Greek versions of the New Testament, the letter ? (chi), is the first letter of Christ.
This festival normally is of nice experience in the school days but in the college days it always falls on the semester holidays and so is not much awaited now. But I have Christian neighbors on either sides and so I always have nice hangouts and bulk loads of cakes. I always give some small present to the next door boy or some child in my street as a token to celebrate from my side. I sometimes buy a star and hang it out in my balcony.
Christians usually celebrate it with ultimate josh. But this is the first time I see a person taking so much interest in keeping a Christmas tree in her house and decorate it with all the crafts which she learnt and spend good amount of money on it. And that is none other than kapathu-the savior. I can surely say this is the impact of her studying in Paathima uyarnilai pallikoodam till her higher secondary. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

Yesterday we went to abirami mega mall to just make a day of difference in our boring holidays. There was mix up of decisions till the previous day night but nice that most of those who were invited turned out. I went to sidharth’s house to have a review of the x-box which i’m going to buy from him and start from there to the mall. But it was a delay of almost an hour due to kapathu who went to some class and came late. We started from sid’s house and ramanujam joining us near his house, we four reached abirami mega mall with lots of queries in the route to the mall. We reached there by 3.15 and there we joined the group of satish, samba and jaya. Raja, sadesh, vijay and ragavanandham were playing hide and seek and they told us to find them out. We easily found them in the second floor and they told us to come up and they went down. After this small game play we went to bumper cars which were ultimate fun. There too we had a small fight as who all to go in doubles. Then we went to teens world which had video games and fun zones where all lost their real world memories and they kept playing on and on. Finally after an hour and a half, having spent some 600 bucks overall we came out with goods which were worth for some 150 bucks. It included a doll, baby skipping toy, four key chains, a led flash light! KApathu had a eye over the set of dolls which are seen below.

Then me and samba sight adichified a girl who was standing there for a long time with the help of kapathu. There we saw mirchi suchi who came there for some show to be held in the evening. Then we came down to fill something in our bellies. The choclate cake which we had immediately after we came out of the teens world kindled the hunger quotient of everyone and I was shocked to see no idly or dosai shop there. Suddenly raja came and told that there is a idly shop and when I went there the west mambalam kedi duo kapathu and sid were already sitting there. Then all four of us had snow white idlies and I took all four cups of sambar. Then having enjoyed the idlies we all had lemon soda and assorted chocolates. It was the feel of all to have a second round of bumper cars but kapathu was getting delayed so we all started off after a small photo session Totally it was a great day and all of us felt very happy and all of us look forward to have many more outings in the days to come!

The Graha gas agency, Tambaram is caught in a case in controversy with indian oil. So the people in and around tambaram are severely suffering for the supply of gas to their house. They have diverted all the consumers to pattammal gas agency, west tambaram. This has made the customers dissatisfied and also suffer to get the new cylinder.

The film is a ultimate entertainer for people of age group 18 to 40. The story goes around auto, auto racing, auto driver- mechanic relationship, war of two great auto mechanics in Chennai- “Son of gun” and “Bigilu”. The film would have been a great success if all the characters were done by anyone else except for the role of sun of gun. He comes and takes off the film to 50% of what it is with his brilliant “THOOTHUKUDI+CHENNAI mixed slang of tamil” saying out all the shit strategies out!

The film starts off with introduction of chandru- the hero, auto(LAKSHMI)driver and a close friend of bigilu- the best mechanic of Chennai. Son of gun is another famous auto mechanic who worked with bigilu but is now a rival of bigilu. When they want to prove their strength or whenever they want to solve a dispute they go for a “AUTO RACE”. This keeps going in the main stream.

Side stream: Mr.Annachi of Thookudi is having a hotel in Mumbai and is side by side doing smuggling of pearls. He gives two pearls worth 10 lakh rupees to his worker and says to give it to burma bhai in Chennai. The worker drops the pearls in chandru’s auto when he travels in his auto in Chennai. Chandru keeps it in his shirt and later forgets where he placed his shirt.

So the story goes on and here comes Rani- The City biriyani stall owners daughter. Chandru gets in connection with rani and in the name of making her know Chennai and its places, he makes her know the deep-ins of life. So a regular mudichifying scene in tamil cinema. But a twist here with the scene taking place inside an auto! But chandru denies to marry rani saying “ kaasa kuduthoma biriyani saptomanu irukkanum”. Bigil also advices chandru, “not to buy the wine shop for a cup of wine”! In mean time, the bigil and co loses an auto race which is betted with an amount of 15000 to pay the auto due of chandru. Now an actual thiraikadhai twist!

Rani is bigil’s murai ponnu. Son of gun who had seen the gilpans scene in auto, makes use of this to bring quarrel among chandru and bigil. So they both pirinjufy. Chandru loses his auto seized by a “junoon sate” for not paying the due. So he joins a iyengar house to drive a private auto. These scenes are placed especially to add pace to the slow script which prevailed then. The second race which is to equal the unpaid bet of first race is also a failure for bigil and co and so he is left out with just Chandru then drives the auto of traffic police and in kadhal kuzhappam he dashes the auto and he is imprisoned. Chandru’s sister asks bigil to get chandru out of jail.

So Chandru and bigil re-unites again and they race again with son of gun to get back all the lost property. This time the great muyarchi of bigil in making a dabba auto into a racing one is highlight. But they lose this race too! So all they are left out is with their friendship and chandru with his lady love whom he compromises in meanwhile. Son of gun gets the auto of bigilu and the shirt which chandru has misplaced is inside the auto and son of gun returns it. The two black pearls were inside it and with this pearl replaced by money through the junoon sate, they buy a new auto and the film ends!

Translation: What is this stinking friendship! It is like shit and a fly! If shit dries up, the fly flies away!

Translation : There are seeds inside jackfruit. In that case, can all men be called jackfruit?

· Unwanted song just to bring in a item number!
