Yesterday after a long time in my life I heard a person saying what exactly what I felt at that time. This timing happens many times with me and vijay but all that is quite predictable. But this one was really something I keep close to my heart. I’m not going to tell you people to guess it in comments section but tell you what it is here itself. The person was vinod and he remarked on the life in foreign country. Sesha’s elder sister and her family is staying in London and they were there for sesha’s second elder sister’s marriage. At that juncture I was thinking, “what is this life, leaving all the friends and relatives with whom we lived for twenty to twenty five years and settling down in a place somewhere else”. It was at the same time vinod also said me the same thoughts. There are many friends known to us who are having their goal of life to go to united states and settle down there happily.
Even sriram says that he wont be living in India and wants to get rid of all the nasty things happening in India like the quota registration, bribe and all such. Every nation is not perfect. Always it appears that the other side is good, but it is when you go and live out there you will come to know that what all the things which you miss out are. You may take your entire family to other country and settle down there and ask what is that is going to be missed. There are certain things which you can’t get in a foreign land. That’s why we call our own country as motherland. It is exactly as we living with our relatives for sometime. They may be so loving and affectionate and there may be all the facilities there. But will that be equivalent to mother’s love and affection?
There was a seminar in my college regarding higher education in foreign countries. There was a person who came and spoke. He said that his age is 24 and he is proud to be the commercial pilot trainee at Melbourne. He said that he left India at the age of 12 and now he is staying in Melbourne and his parents somewhere else. Is this a proud thing to boast about? What’s the life with parents living some thousand kilometers away and having a great career and enjoying life in some other place?
I’m not saying that going to US is a crime or such stuff. And I’m also not against the higher studies and all those stuff. I just say about those who completely want to leave out the nation, friends, relatives and have a life in some other place. East or west, home is the best. And this holds good everywhere. It is a nice experience to go to other countries and hang out there for some job or travel or studies. But when that gets over get back home. I didn’t want to write such a post as many may think this may be opposing to their view to go to foreign countries. But I wanted to post it and thanks to vinod who kindled the flame yesterday.

Its equally worse as how good it is. Going abroad is not a sin, But still yes, you miss something. What to do, Life is like that, you must give away something for anything.

Ya machi its true..Its hard to leave ur family to settle abroad..but the decision to not to go abroad at all is also not right.If suppose tomo u gotta go US for official reasons wont u go..Thats no prob but leavin India and settling there is not apt..Every one got his own opinion about this.

Foreign countries are just illusions of better life and its not like that on reality.My sis is been there for abt 4 mnths and she says how much she misses being here.Our country is on the same lane as theirs and one day beat theirs.Being seperated is terrible and i too know how it feels.Day when people stand out in sun to get Indian Visa is not too long away!and about your thought,i think i will wait for the answer!

India is a heaven da.. Why leave it?? But basically, the logic is that, u were born from heaven, u live in earth and u gonna die and get back to heaven. so, there is absolutely nothing wrong in working in other countries. yup..going and settling there is not too good an option..gangai amaran had already written it in his movie saying ” sorgame endralum adu namma ooru pola varuma?? ” our country is always best to come and settle down..
but..nowadays career is also getting equally important..after the costly investments that we make for our education to reap good benefits..it is but the fact that few years of work abroad will make us comfortable..and thats why people really go overseas…
but surely..things are turning india’s way now…all people are coming and settling here..and they are very secure about their kids growing in our own backyard.!!!

Well even if you go and do something unique, the recognition wont be for you. The company will ge tit and you will be hidden behind them. Understand that first. You can’t shine anywhere in the world unless you start some company on your own and that can be done by living anywhere. All you need is hard work. Higher studies in foreign countries is better than doing in our country and I accept that but working for their improvement is not required. Its not that you wont come out of flying colors if you stay back in India. To give you examples are Narayana Moorthy, Tata and many others. You just need to work harder and success will follow you.

Its not a sin (as Visu said) to go abroad, study there and earn more. But why to bring fame for their country by shining there? Why can’t you do that for our country? Why do you prefer to live there forever and even if you like to live there forever then why do few people still say by words that they want to bring glory to their country (INDIA)???? Why can’t they show it through action rather than words???
The answer is money alone. People want only money and not relationships, love, friendship and they will never understand these feelings till they are mad about money. They will do anything to earn money.

Ya da…the single paper when printed as money turns people mad and they do all possible things…but i’m sure that all rich people will accept that they miss out family,frens but they will show their stupid achievement(money) as an equivalent. Can both be equal…This scene will change…Time will do the trick..

I beg to differ from the last one. I think I wont remain here in camp road for sure. No clue. Anything can happen. But I wont leave our motherland for sure. I wont go out to live in some other country. INDIA is my home and I wont leave it for sure. going to foreign country to enjoy with family or friends or on work (sent by company for short duration) is ok. But to go and live there forever is not at all good. They will all feel one day for sure.

nice post..its true for study,work or travel abroad is popular,especially to teens..u cant blame if someone has settled himself in abroad,they might have reason for that..but watever it is,how much established u’re atlast u shoud come to ur motherland..its something which comes very next to our mothers place..not onle the position its also would be the best place for everything..ueah of course we need to have the eyes to see that..if we only talk abt the god things abt west n the bad things abt east then never we’ll be able to look over the grt things of our very own country..even we should be proud to live in this pious land..for study n work we can go but i think there is no need to spent the whole life there itself..anyway good post..keep it up..
